How do I check if my phone supports eSIM in 10 seconds?
Dial *#06# on your phone keypad. If you see an EID (32-digit Embedded Identity Document number) on screen, your phone has eSIM hardware.
Does my phone need to be carrier-unlocked to use a Mapians eSIM?
Yes. Your phone must be unlocked from your home carrier to download an eSIM profile from another provider. Check Settings > General > About > Carrier Lock on iPhone ("No SIM restrictions").
Can I use dual SIM (physical SIM + eSIM) at the same time?
Yes. Compatible iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and Android devices allow you to keep your home SIM active for calls/SMS while Mapians handles travel mobile data.
