1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "User", or "you") and Roam Communication Limited, trading as Mapians ("Mapians", "we", "us", or "our").

Roam Communication Limited is a company incorporated in England and Wales under Company Registration Number 16116903, with registered office located at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Our VAT registration number is GB 452 8391 20.

By accessing our website (mapians.com), purchasing an eSIM data plan, downloading our application, or using our telecommunications services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. The eSIM Service

Mapians operates an international digital marketplace offering prepaid travel eSIM (embedded Subscriber Identity Module) profiles and mobile data plans covering over 190 countries and territories.

• All services are provided on a prepaid basis without long-term contracts, roaming surcharges, or recurring automatic subscriptions unless explicitly specified.
• Specific data allowances, validity periods (e.g. 7, 15, or 30 days), network speed tiers (4G, LTE, 5G), and geographic coverage boundaries are detailed on each plan's product page.
• Data packages purchased from Mapians are intended exclusively for travel data connectivity, navigation, remote work, and communications. Unless specifically stated on a voice-enabled plan, plans are mobile data-only.

3. Device Compatibility & Unlocked Status

It is exclusively the customer's responsibility to confirm prior to purchasing that their mobile handset or device meets the following essential requirements:

• eSIM Hardware Support: The device contains built-in eSIM hardware and software capability. Please review our eSIM Compatible Phones List.
• Carrier Unlocked: The device must be fully network-unlocked by your original mobile carrier. Devices locked to a specific carrier cannot install third-party travel eSIM profiles.

Mapians cannot issue refunds for plans installed on carrier-locked or non-eSIM devices where carrier provisioning costs have been consumed.

4. Ordering, Delivery & eSIM Activation

• Digital Delivery: Upon successful payment confirmation, your unique eSIM profile, QR code, and manual SM-DP+ activation codes are generated and dispatched immediately to your registered email address and displayed in your Mapians account dashboard.
• Installation Requirements: Installing an eSIM profile requires an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular). We recommend downloading your profile before departure or immediately upon arrival at your destination airport.
• Validity Commencement: The validity duration of each plan begins either immediately upon profile installation or upon the first successful cellular connection to a local partner network at your destination, as stated on the product page.
• Single Installation Constraint: Most prepaid travel eSIM profiles can only be downloaded once onto a single device. You must not remove or delete the eSIM profile from your cellular settings until your journey is complete, as deleted profiles cannot be scanned again or reinstalled.

5. Coverage, Network Speeds & Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

• Network Quality: Mapians partners with tier-1 mobile network operators worldwide (including Orange, Vodafone, Three, O2, Telefonica, and DTAC). However, cellular coverage, signal strength, and connection speeds are subject to local carrier transmission towers, physical obstructions, topography, weather, and network congestion.
• Fair Usage Policy: In order to protect network integrity and deliver consistent service to all users, underlying partner networks enforce Fair Usage Policies. Plans advertised with unlimited data feature high-speed daily allowances, after which transmission speeds may be managed until the daily reset period.
• Acceptable Use: You agree to use the service in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You agree NOT to use the service for:
  • Unsolicited bulk communications, spamming, or automated telemarketing.
  • Denial of service attacks, unauthorized network penetration, or cyberattacks.
  • Continuous, automated peer-to-peer torrent file distribution that harms general network performance.
  • Any activity that infringes third-party intellectual property rights or local criminal laws.

6. Pricing, Taxes & Payment Methods

• All prices displayed on the website are shown in your selected display currency and include applicable statutory sales taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Payments are cleared securely through regulated payment processors (Stripe, Revolut, Stripe, and PayPal).
• We reserve the right to modify prices for future plan purchases without prior notice. Once an order is completed, the price paid remains guaranteed for that plan.

7. Partner & Wholesale Accounts

B2B enterprise partners, wholesale buyers, travel agencies, and affiliates accessing the Mapians wholesale portal are bound by these Terms as well as the terms of any individual Master Services Agreement (MSA) executed with Roam Communication Limited. Partners are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their administrator and user credentials.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, brand logos, user interfaces, design systems, illustrations, and proprietary code on mapians.com are the exclusive intellectual property of Roam Communication Limited or its licensors and are protected under UK and international copyright and trademark laws. No portion of this site may be duplicated, scraped, or republished without prior written authorization.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales:

• Roam Communication Limited shall not be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, profits, goodwill, or travel inconvenience, arising from network outages or mobile carrier disruptions.
• Our total cumulative liability arising out of or related to any individual purchase shall not exceed the total price paid by you for the specific eSIM data plan giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service and any dispute or controversy arising out of or relating to them shall be governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
